Robotboot "Polyphonic Ooze" | Audio Visual Ambient Meditation

"Polyphonic Ooze" is a meditation on togetherness and thought of somewhat like how a guitar works having strings that are all in a separate space but work together polyphonically and when in sync the strings vibrate and become almost intoned together while still keeping there own frequency.

Pondering Parallel | Mink Lake @Olympic National Park | Audio Visual Ambient Meditation 4K

This is a meditation thinking of original thoughts and thinking and how of then as you grow you have a parallel thought that you would of ben totally agents when you first started this thinking and hadn't had the time and or experience to change. This video a video I shot  @Olympic National Park  Mink Lake, a field recording at a location that I cannot remember where, and a live modular audio performance(a friend Validine Chronus herd and saw an early version and decided to send over a simple yet fitting synth part so I added it and it worked wonderful and fell into the working in parallel theme). Video shot on September 26, 2018 in Washington at Mink Lake Olympic National Park.

Robotboot "Soundness" | Audio Visual Ambient Meditation

I have been thinking a lot about how sound things are for both the self, the people around, and the place we are, all focusing more and more outward especially with all thats going on and seeing peoples actions of not thinking of anyone but themselves and disregarding the community, old, young, unfortunate, animals, public spaces, and our whole existence. Ultimately coming back to how sound everything is when its all a relationship held together by fragments, happy accidents, and marvelous wonders. While all this things are great it's not that sound and not that lasting and easy lost with the thinking that its uncomfortable to put thinking that puts others and places infant of your own comfortability.

2020.01.01 Audio Visual Ambient Meditation

This is a meditation with thoughts and feeling of embracing the special time spent with one and or ones we love to love and the sensual pleasures we can achieve when we are all functioning asymmetrically and the time we spend when our asymmetrical timing meet to create beauty, symmetry, love, desire, sadness, lust, euphoria, comfort, relaxation, and other comma etc with the one or ones or self we chose to be our other and or others and or self and how we choose to experience and worship this coveted time. For the time being I am going to refrain from talking about the audio slash video creation as it leads into me needing to document more and even do some talking on camera showing the audio visual modular that I have built that I'm using and also don't want to show it till its done as it has been a monstrous investment and needs its own light shinned on it.

Other Form Audio Visual Ambient Meditation

I have found great enjoyment making music and visuals together as a form of meditation for myself…especially since I have put little to no focus on using percussion in songs so I hope that you could enjoy this also. Its kind of like running a program for your brain that will make you feel more relaxed after you visually downloaded it into your psyche.
Thanks have a great day.

Audio made with norns zelleen recording different sequences strait to the tape then loaded up and jumbled around in mlr while being recorded into ableton for clean up and a little editing.

Video was made from a longer late night session with my modular video synth with endogenous tones structure being the star of the show wile being fed other modulates.

2019.10.08 Modular Audio Visual MEDITATION

Rory Khan Mohon “Monochromatic”

This is a music video I created by for Rory Khan Mohon for his song Monochromatic. The visuals for this video where created by using a single photo that April Staso took of Rory. I took the photo and made some new compositions out of it and fed it to my video feedback system. I was happy to listen to this song over and over while each time it sounded a bit better. I think this came out delightfully weird.

Grabs

Pose by naomi smalls

I produced some visual effects for “Pose” the new music video by Naomi Smalls. I was blown away on how this video looked before before I had a chance to work on it. The video was directed by Todd Diederich who also is the creator of Smalls World(Naomi’s YouTub series) that is also great and a great glimpse into the life of Naomi. The song is head bobbin vibe that you can blast in your cover while cutting threw the fog at night.

Spool’s Out Radio #152: Late-Year Cul-De-Sac

I was very lucky to be included on Spool’s Out Radio’s 152nd podcast. A Cassette-based radio show on Resonance 104.4FM, presented by Tristan Bath in association with The Quietus out of London, United Kingdom. The podcast features other electronic musicians that are releasing there music on cassette. I know a lot of people say why release a cassette and there is a plethora of answers. Options for releasing music are Vinyl, CD, Digital, and Cassette. In this day and age computer don’t have CD players anymore and most people have previously tossed there cd players and ether never had or tossed their record players slash cassette decks. I mean we are getting to the point where some people haven't ever listed to music on a home speaker system. So when it come time to release music now no one wants a CD it just adds to the garage and people don’t want to have to rip the cd to listen to it on the computer or even have a cd drive to do that. Releasing digital is a no brainer and a bit lack lustered slash hard to get noticed with all the other noise in the digital domain. Algorithms don’t want to find new music they just want to make money for the compony who made the algorithm, much less do you really want all of your music taste to be defined by a computer and an algorithm that has alternative means. Computers cant truly pick random numbers or shuffle you music library randomly it cant just pick the music you're going to like. Vinyl is a great option, people probable have a record player and don’t have a CD player or a cassette player. Vinyl is the most expensive investment form an independent artist. You're looking at $1,500 investment for 250 records, plus the cost of making the music and mastering it. Cassettes on the other hand can be made DIY at any number or at lo runs of just 25 making it a go to option for a physical release. Problem is most people have tossed their cassette decks. But with music trends and cassette decks being the best $ option for an independent artist slash small music label to get there music out it is on the rise. Did I answer a question? Did I know what I was going to write before I did this? I don’t have those answers. Im not much of a word person so listen to the podcast because thats why you came here. Thanks have a great day.

From Spool's Out

“2018 won’t let up. The postman keeps piling cassettes through the letterbox. The binman keeps stamping piles of cardboard packaging into piles of recycled matter. The ideas keep flowing, and the buzz of the hive mind still makes little sense. Aptly, this week’s selection of tapes blends freak out noise and weirdo pop with conceptual art and bacchanal beats. Happy Movember tapeheadz.
